How to Save Money on The Wedding Ceremony
Any Bride can have a beautiful wedding ceremony without bursting her wedding budget. It just takes some careful and sometimes creative planning.
First, try to keep the members of your wedding party to a minimum since traditionally, you are responsible for purchasing gifts for each of them. You could ask a friend or family member to officiate your ceremony if your state allows it. In most cases, ordination can be achieved online for a small fee. If you are not comfortable with this option, consider having a Notary perform your ceremony. Typically, Notaries rates are very low. Keep in mind that Notaries do not perform religious ceremonies.
Outdoor locations such as beaches, parks, and public gardens, tend to be inexpensive options for ceremony locations. Wedding costs may be lower in small towns as opposed to big cities so be sure to look outside of your area. If you have your heart set on musicians for the ceremony, you may be able to find performers at a local college for a much lower price than professional musicians. Consider having your ceremony on any day other than Saturday since venues often mark up prices as Saturday weddings are in high demand. Lastly, consider purchasing artificial flowers for the ceremony arrangements instead of fresh flowers which can easily burst your budget.
